1. What personal data do we process?

ROBAWS may collect and process the following personal data:

First and last name
Gender
Company name
Address data (home and/or work)
Telephone number (landline and/or mobile)

Other personal data that you actively provide for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone

2. For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

ROBAWS processes your personal data for the following purposes and legal grounds:

Sending invoices and handling your payment.
Preparing an offer
Sending you our newsletter, targeted marketing and advertising, updates and promotional offers
To be able to call or email you if necessary to perform our services
To provide you with support.
To inform You of changes to our services and products.
Allow you to create an account.

ROBAWS analyzes your behavior on the website in order to improve the website and the range of products and services to match your preferences.
ROBAWS also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.
Conducting customer satisfaction surveys, surveys and other market research.

3. Special and/or sensitive personal data we process.

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities in order to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete this information.

4. How long do we keep personal data?

Unless where a longer retention period is required or justified (i) by law or (ii) by compliance with another legal obligation, ROBAWS will retain your personal data only for the period necessary to achieve and fulfill the purposes as described in the Privacy Statement under "For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?".

5. Sharing of personal data to third parties 

ROBAWS only provides your personal data to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you, in the context of providing our services and optimizing them (such as, but not limited to, maintenance work, payment processing, database management) or to comply with a legal obligation. With these parties (processors) we naturally make the necessary arrangements herein to ensure the security of your personal data.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, however, ROBAWS may disclose your personal data:

- To the competent authorities (i) when ROBAWS is required to do so by law or in the context of legal or prospective legal proceedings and (ii) to safeguard and defend our rights;

- When ROBAWS or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case your personal data - which ROBAWS has collected - will be one of the transferred assets;

- For the purpose of detecting profiles similar to yours, except where you have expressly objected.

6. What are your rights regarding your data?

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by ROBAWS and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to [email protected]. To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

7. How do we secure your personal data?

ROBAWS takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service or at [email protected].

Notwithstanding ROBAWS' security policy, the controls it implements and the actions it takes in this regard, an infallible level of security cannot be guaranteed. No method of transmission or transfer via the Internet nor any method of electronic storage is 100% secure, therefore ROBAWS cannot guarantee absolute security in this context.  

Finally, the security of your (demo) account will also depend in part on the confidentiality of your password to access the Platform and/or the App. ROBAWS will never ask for your password so that you are not required to disclose it yourself. If you do disclose your password to a third party - for example because this third party has indicated that it offers you additional services - this third party will use your password to access your (demo) account and your personal data. In this case, you yourself are liable for the actions taken through the use made of your (demo) account. ROBAWS therefore strongly recommends that you immediately change your password and contact us if you find that someone has taken access to your (demo) account. 

8. Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

ROBAWS uses only technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not invade your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferences. They also allow us to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies by setting your Internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete any information previously stored via your browser settings.

9. Cross-border processing of personal data 

Any transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to a recipient domiciled or established in a country not covered by an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission shall be governed by provisions of a data transfer agreement, which shall contain (i) the standard contractual clauses set forth in the "European Commission Decision 2010/87/EC of February 5, 2010", or (ii) any other mechanism pursuant to privacy laws or any other regulations governing the processing of personal data. 

10. Update Privacy Statement. 

ROBAWS may change its privacy statement. We will make an announcement of such change on our website. The last amendment occurred on May 24, 2018.

The Website may potentially contain hyperlinks to other websites. In no event is ROBAWS responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third party. 

Robaws use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
